The Behavioral and Experimental Economics group has an influential position in this field in the Netherlands and Europe. CREED, the Amsterdam-based group, focuses particularly on three main projects: economics of political decision making; bounded rationality and institutions and experimental economics. The research of the Rotterdam-based group focuses on two broad themes: decision under risk and uncertainty and intertemporal choice.
Dennis Fok is professor of applied econometrics at Erasmus School of Economics and Director Educational Program at Tinbergen Institute. He holds a PhD from the same School. Dennis Fok specializes in developing econometric models to describe, understand, and predict decisions made by consumers. Among his technical interests are modelling unobserved heterogeneity, marketing econometrics, and Bayesian statistics. Dennis’ research has been published widely in econometrics as well as in marketing. He is a member and associate director of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management and Fellow of Tinbergen institute.
