Adrian Pagan is Professor of Economics in the School of Economics at the University of Sydney. He has published many papers in the area of theoretical and applied econometrics. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, the Econometric Society and the Journal of Econometrics; a Medallist Fellow of the Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand; has been made a Distinguished Fellow of the Economic Society of Australia and was awarded a Centenary Medal at the Centennial of Australian Federation.
Don Harding joined the Economics and Finance Department at the Latrobe University as a Professor at the beginning of 2008. Prior to joining La Trobe Don was at the University of Melbourne where he taught in the Department of economics and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute. He has also held positions in the Australian Treasury, where he was head of the Policy Research Unit, the then Industry Assistance Commission and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Don’s main research interests are in macroeconomics, econometrics and applied economics. Much of his research has been on the business cycle. He also has a keen interest in public policy.
