PhD student Stephan Jagau (University of Amsterdam) has won the IAREP/SABE/Elsevier best student paper award 2018 for his paper “Common belief in rationality in psychological games” (joint with Andrés Perea, Maastricht University) at the SABE/IAREP 2018 Conference held at Middlesex University in London on July 19-22, 2018.
The winner of the IAREP/SABE/Elsevier Best PhD Student Paper Competition 2018 receives 1000 Euro and a year’s electronic subscription to either the Journal of Economic Psychology or the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics.
Stephan is a Tinbergen Institute MPhil alumnus (cum laude, 2015) and a PhD student at Center for Research in Experimental Economics and political Decision-making (CREED) at the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of fellows Theo Offerman and Matthijs van Veelen. He expects to defend his dissertation upcoming October. Stephan starts a postdoctoral researcher position at the Institute for Mathematical Behavioral Sciences (University of California, Irvine, United States) in October.
