You are cordially invited to join the 9th TI conference on ‘70 Years Theory of Games and Economic Behavior’, to be held on June 25-27, 2014.
In 1944, John von Neumann and Oskar Morgenstern published their book “Theory of games and economic behavior”. In 2014 TI celebrates the 70th anniversary of this seminal work which has changed forever the way in which economics is analyzed and understood. The conference aims to provide an overview of the advances that game theory has brought to the field of economics and to bring out new challenges for the future.
The conference is organized by the members of the research group “Strategic and Co-operative Decision Making” and TI fellows Arantza Estévez-Fernández, Harold Houba and Gerard van der Laan of the VU University Amsterdam.
The conference is sponsored by TI, the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). Please click here to register.
