It will be held at TI & NSCR in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 26-27 September, 2019 .

We aim to bring together researchers from both sides of the Atlantic to present and discuss their work, allowing for an in-depth interaction between those working on the empirical and theoretical analysis of crime and illegal behavior.

The workshop will consist of 15 contributed papers and two keynote lectures to be given by Imran Rasul (UCL) and Patrick Sharkey (Princeton) .

This year’s theme will focus on prevention of crime over the life cycle but is not limited to this topic. Other suggested topics covered include the following:

• Judicial decisions

• Social prevention of crime and violence

• Early childhood interventions

• Evaluation of police crime reduction strategies

• Re-entry and rehabilitation interventions

• Guns/weapons (and related policies) and crime

• Social interactions, networks, and crime
