
Tanju Yorulmazer
Biography
Tanju Yorulmazer is the Professor of Financial Institutions, Markets and Regulation at the Finance Department in the University of Amsterdam. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics in New York University in 2003. Prior to joining the University of Amsterdam, he worked at the Bank of England (2003-2007) and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (2007-2014). He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and the Journal of Financial Stability. We works in the areas of Financial Economics, Financial Institutions, Banking and Regulation. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies and the American Economic Review.
