Biography

Ilka van de Werve is an assistant professor at the department of Econometrics and Data Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds a BSc and MSc in Econometrics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a research master in Econometrics from the Tinbergen Institute. She wrote her dissertation “Panel data models for socioeconomic studies in crime and education” at the department of Econometrics and Data Science at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is a research fellow at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement.
